The game supports up to 8 players in one session—one plays Jason, the rest are counselors, each with their own strengths, weaknesses, tools, and styles.

Maps and locations are adapted directly from the movies, featuring original sound design, atmospheric audio, and visuals that heighten the horror. Jason has distinctive kills, abilities, and movement that make playing as him a different experience every match. Counselors can use traps, weapons, hiding spots, and work together to evade Jason or distract him long enough to escape.
