Days Gone – PlayStation 4

Days Gone is an immersive open-world action-adventure and survival game developed by Bend Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Originally released exclusively for the PlayStation 4, this gripping title places players in a post-apocalyptic version of Oregon, where survival depends on wit, courage and mastery of both combat and traversal.

You play as Deacon St. John, a former outlaw-turned-drifter and bounty hunter, riding the “broken road” on his trusty motorcycle through a vast, hostile landscape filled with dangers at every turn. Two years after a devastating global pandemic turned millions into vicious mutated creatures known as Freakers, Deacon’s journey becomes more than a struggle to stay alive — it’s a mission driven by hope, loyalty and the search for a reason to carry on.

The game blends intense third-person combat with exploration, stealth, crafting and resource management. Players must scavenge supplies, maintain and upgrade Deacon’s bike, and use a range of weapons — from firearms to improvised tools — to face both feral hordes and hostile human factions. The dynamic day/night cycle and unpredictable weather further influence enemy behaviour and survival strategy, creating a deeply atmospheric and continuously evolving world.
